ABOUT THIS PLATFORM
THE SYNERGY THAT BROUGHT FORTH NIGERIA HEROES' PLATFORM
For so many reasons, people usually think only the rich, influential politicians, or community leaders should be proclaimed as heroes.
However, there are millions of people who are not in the above listed categories who are making big impacts within their limited capacity.
Nigeria Heroes website is set up to identify people who have made direct or indirect positive impact on the Nigeria Nation.
Companies, organizations, institutions, and individuals can be listed.
This list will be updated yearly. This is the first national independent platform to proclaim Nigerians as heroes.
A magazine with profiles of the proclaimed heroes will be published on this website, which will be accessible all over the world.
Nominations will come primarily from Nigerians. Our screening team will now verify the nominees.
Integrity is the number one screening yardstick before other qualities.
Global Skills Hub United Kingdom put this project together in partnership with SNEAWARDS Nigeria.
Global Skills Hub started the first ever Africa Education Summit at the University of Rwanda, Global Skills Hub, also started the 1st ever Africa Business Summit on African soil held at the World Trade Center Accra, Ghana.
Global Skills Hub, United Kingdom, is known for integrity and a bigger impact across Africa.
Nominations on this platform can not be influenced by governments, money, pressure groups, etc. The purpose of this platform is to encourage those that are impacting Nigeria positively and challenge others to emulate as well. ABOUT OUR PARTNER- SNEAWARDS
In 2011,some media practitioners from different media stations came together and started a yearly award called southwest nigeria excellence awards, the purpose of the award is to create a platform where those that are impacting the society can be appreciated, those that are outstanding in their services to the public.
This will encourage those that are doing well and also pique those that are not doing well to greater impact. In 2018 SNEA started southwest Nigeria education awards, southwest Nigeria health awards and southwest Nigeria business/leadership awards.
SNEA stood out with a unique nomination process, no online voting but direct confidential nominations from the public, followed by the screening process by the screening committee. After this, the winners will now be notified.
In January 2020 SNEA was able to register the south east Nigeria excellence awards, south south Nigeria excellence awards and northcentral Nigeria excellence awards with the corporate affairs commission of Nigeria.
Today SNEA is the largest award body in Nigeria covering 25 states and 4 regions.
In 2023 Global skills hub, United Kingdom and the four members of the SNEAWARDS group put together the Nigeria Heroes website, a platform to showcase outstanding individuals and businesses in Nigeria.

About Our Chairman
Honey Olawale
In 2018 Honey and other team members started the biggest Anti-suicide organization in Africa and the 32nd largest in the World known as Africa Project Against Suicide.
APAS started with 4 Countries, but today the Project has covered over 32 Nations and 3 Continents. Honey is the International Director of this great organization and he supervises thousands of staff Volunteers.
Honey also pioneered an International training platform to help people who are out of job during the Pandemic, he is the CEO of Africa Skills Centre serving thousands of people on scholarship around the World.
Honey Olawale is also the Director Of Global Skills Hub United Kingdom.
He has partnered with the L.I.O.N Outreach International United states and Jerry Vreeman the Executive Director to impact many lives.
Born on the 13th of March 1978, Honey has pioneered several projects that led to the reduction of poverty.
Honey Olawale gave several award funding Scholarship to outstanding university students in Nigeria.
Honey is the founder of the largest award body in Nigeria "SNEAWARDS", started in the year 2011. SNEAWARDS has facilitated the emergence of this great platform 'NIGERIA HEROES'.
He was a journalist and TV/Radio presenter, the anchor of the popular Sunday Magazine show on the Nigeria Television Authority.
He worked with the Sunshine Fm Radio Akure as a presenter for 5 years.
Honey was in South Africa for several years working in partnership with local organizations to reach people in crisis.
Honey is a graduate of Physics Electronics from the Federal University of Technology Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria.
He is a Certified mental health trainer. Honey has completed several mental health courses in the United Kingdom including Diploma in Emotional intelligence.
He is a global Ambassador for Suicide prevention, an associate member of IASP United States.
He is a Certified leadership trainer from the Leadership in Obscurity Network Colorado Springs, United States.
In the United Kingdom, with different companies and at different times Honey has worked on full time, contract, also as agency staff.
He is a musical studio engineer, music producer and multi Instrumentalist.
He is a Voice over Artist, video editor and a camera man. He held a concert with the American based gospel singer Ron Kenoly in 2011, he is also a partner to the popular international gospel singer Panam Percy Paul.
Africa largest mass choir African Network Choir was also pioneered by Honey.
Honey is an event planner who has planned several international events in South Africa and Nigeria Stadiums at different times, he has also put together conferences and trainings in different Nations.
He is a motivational speaker, the president of the international music and movie academy.
Honey Olawale is an ordained Pastor who has reached out to several lives.
His experience cut across almost all the major areas of life and this has given him an edge in motivation and training..
